I have tried to find a volume control and a wireless button (like on my other laptop) and there isnt one.(if there is, then it is invisible or hidden mi5 style) it appears that the volume control is on the keyboard. You press fn key then f3 and f4. And the same for the internet press fn then press f1 key or both together at same time none of which seem to work. Any more suggestions would still be appreciated alan i have tried to find a volume control and a wireless button (like on my other laptop) and there isnt one.(if there is, then it is invisible or hidden mi5 style) it appears that the volume control is on the keyboard.
Somewhere on the laptop should be a button to switch wifi on and off. Most time near the volume controls. Have you put that one on.

Did you turn the wireless switch on? Normally there is a switch either on the sides or the front of the laptop that you have to turn on. Sometimes it is a button at the top of the keyboard.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless. May 21, 2012 .
